Part of me wanted Spike to come to the banks of the Red Cedar.. but I'm not sure he could handle it academically.

Regardless, this is awesome news. Thanks for posting!!

Great idea - if I see khakis on sale at Kohl's this weekend, I'll go ahead and stock up.

I wonder if Up North attractions leave their websites looking like they were last updated in 1998 for nostalgia.

my guess is either a) nostalgia or b) to appeal to the types of people (65 and older) who would actually find that sort of thing interesting.

maybe they have a sock-hop on Friday nights.. "Enjoy the lighthouse tour during the day.. at night, grab your best gal, kick off your shoes and cut a rug"...

I quit reading when I got to East German Judge's "We are a great school and deserve to do better than this" comment. Sums up everything about that fanbase. I have an idea, earn something.

He might be right. I have never seen anything like it before. It was so bad it became impossible to say it was just bad officiating. The NBA lost a ton of credibility that night.

I remember that game, Ralph Nader wanted to open up a federal investigation on the NBA after that game.

Surprised it isn't a bigger story.

Except you said it was a non-story a while back when you were talking about how fantastic the officiating is in the NBA.

Pretty similar. Checked out the Detroit electronic music festival for about half the day Saturday, roommate had a few DJs he wanted to see. I dont know much about the scene but it was a 'different' crowd than I am accustomed to. Had a good time though, downtown was packed.

Sunday was nice out and I went on a min bar/pub crawl. Lots of ladies walking around in the warm weather, perfect day to have some afternoon beers on patios.
