Beautiful facility.

Played on my high school team that finished sixth in state my Sr year. The kicker was we shot 302 in an invitational a month before state with the same teams (different course more open which played to our length) and finished second by 2 shots to the team that ended up winning the title that year.

The Rearick Golf Complex

The Spartans unveiled their new practice facility at the Rearick Golf Complex in November 2004. The facility overlooks the 13th hole on the Forest Akers West Golf Course and features an expansive putting green, three hitting stations and the revolutionary V-1 Video Swing Analysis System.

I worked at Egypt Valley as a groundskeeper one summer during college and saw an old dude dressed up like this once.

Back then the Senior PGA tour had a stop there. Some really big names were practicing there a few days before the tournament and Gary Player asked me about the hole I was working on as he passed through. I felt like king shit for a day.

MSU men's golf gearing up for Big Ten play after impressive fall

It’s been nine years since the MSU men’s golf team won a Big Ten championship title. Since then, the University of Illinois has swept the Big Ten, winning every conference title except in 2014 when Minnesota took it.

But this year, the Spartans have a chance to contend for the title they’ve fought for.

Five tournaments into the regular season, the Spartans have recorded four top-five finishes, including two wins.

“It’s been a great season,” MSU head coach Casey Lubahn said. “Two wins, four really good finishes against great fields, against the top 40 fields. It’s only half the year, but it’s a big start to the year, and it really provides us a platform to go chase (NCAA) and Big Ten championships here in the spring.”

Went to the new facility today. Went there thinking that's where the shot tracker units were. Nice place for the team and coaches office. Huge indoor putting green that looked like the real thing.

Then headed over to the hotel where the West Club House is. That's where the shot trackers were. Got a free bucket demo. Might even join a league this year there.
