3 games today.

Capitals looking to finally close out the Flyers. I think they roll. Underway now

Islanders up 3-2 on Florida and are at home today. No idea who wins this one. 7pm

Stars are up 3-2 on Minnesota, playing in St Paul. 3pm

Caps beat Philly 1-0 to finish the series in six, meeting Pittsburgh next. They had a pretty rad series in 2009.

Dallas up 4-0 on the Wild going into the 3rd, looks to be wrapped up barring a huge goal rush by Minny.

Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Friend said the winner of Pens/Caps wins the Cup. Hard to argue with that.

I would LIKE to say this is the Caps' year, but we've said that so much in recent memory, then they shit themselves hard.

I think it'll be a final four of Caps/Lightning, Caps win the East, Dallas/Chicago, Stars win the West. I think the Stars will win the Cup in seven games.

According to my Fast Pass + metrics, which are usually dead accurate....this will be the first year since Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated that neither the Blackhawks nor the Kings or the Bruins win Lord Stanley's Cup.

Game 7 between the Preds and Ducks is underway in Anaheim. Preds up 2-0 near the end of 1. Anaheim just can't win a Game 7

Tampa takes out the Islanders to win the series 4-1. They'll face the winner of the Pens/Caps series that I'm praying goes7 games. Pens up 3-2, Game 6 is in Pittsburgh.
