Thanks for reminding me. It being Flag Day is the only way I remember it's also my wedding anniversary. You may have just saved my life, Bob.

Re: It's Flag Day - How Do You Plan on Celebrating?
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my children and my wife
I thank my lucky stars
To be living here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.

Re: It's Flag Day - How Do You Plan on Celebrating?
every day is Flag Day in my house.
I pledge allegiance to this flag
And if that bothers you, well that's too bad
But if you got pride and you're proud you do
Hey, we could use some more like me and you.

I’d have to get back to you but it’s an old school Schwin(sp?) road bike. No gears and thin smooth tires. Obviously i know dick about bikes i just ride around the city and trails.

Just asking because 30 miles on skinny street tires is a bit different than 30 miles on mountain bike tires. Still, 30 miles is awesome.
If it would quit raining long enough around here I'm dying to get in a long ride.

Are there a lot of trails out that way? I remember there being a decent amount on the west side of the state. Paved and would go all the way up to like Muskegon from GR. Would stop smoke a bowl and keep cruising in high school and college.

We could use more, but as I've learned in the last year since I got into it, there are a surprising number of trails around here.

I don't really keep track of such things.. I suspect I've gotten up into the 60's before.Other Teams Pursuing That wrote:Bob what is your longest bike ride? Did 30 miles yesterday and it felt like nothing
but I do keep track of my love of America and the flag. And I'd be happy to discuss that with you anytime.
