A good article that recommends real milk over that fake junk. Too bad he didn't carry it through to raw milk.

Got milk? This is the kind you should be drinking

The throwback cow's milk, both Lemond and Larson point out, is the healthiest option because of its naturally occurring vitamins, which include everything from Vitamin D, potassium and calcium, to phosphorous, Vitamin B-12 and even melatonin. It's the "gold standard," Larson claims.

Mayo, wings, butter: ‘Fake milk’ is latest food fight

New York — Is “fake milk” spoiling the dairy industry’s image?

Dairy producers are calling for a crackdown on the almond, soy and rice “milks” they say are masquerading as the real thing and cloud the meaning of milk for shoppers. And a group that advocates for plant-based products, the Good Food Institute, countered by asking the Food and Drug Administration this week to say foods can use terms such as “milk” and “sausage,” so long as they’re modified to make clear what’s in them.

It’s the latest dispute about what qualifies a food as authentic, many of them stemming from developments in manufacturing practices and specialized diets.

DiGiorno’s frozen chicken “wyngz” were fodder for comedian Stephen Colbert. An eggless, vegan spread provoked the ire of egg producers by calling itself “mayo.” And as far back as the 1880s, margarine was dismissed as “counterfeit butter” by a Wisconsin lawmaker.

The U.S. actually spells out the required characteristics for a range of products such as French dressing, canned peas and raisin bread. It’s these federal standards of identity that often trigger the food fights.

Cow, nut, bean

Though soy milk and almond milk have become commonplace terms, milk’s standard of identity says it is obtained by the “complete milking of one or more healthy cows.” That’s a point the dairy industry is now emphasizing, with the support of lawmakers who last month introduced legislation calling for the FDA to enforce the guidelines.

“Mammals produce milk, plants don’t,” said Jim Mulhern, president of the National Milk Producers Federation.

The article it wrong. Raw milk cheese is legal in all states. Problem is that the knotheads that made it didn't know what they were doing. Just like any other food borne disease, someone fucked up.

When you fuck up a steak you put some ketchup on it like Cheeto boy. When you fuck up raw milk you die. Seems kind of extreme for negligible health benefits.

There is a ton of regulation on raw milk cheese already. In order to have Listeria it's likely someone didn't clean their equipment properly.

Milk new symbol of hate?

White nationalists and neo-nazis using milk as form of racial supremacy.

When you think of milk, what first comes to your mind? If you’re a millennial, you probably think of strong bones, Got Milk? commercials, or maybe eating your favorite cereal while watching cartoons on a Saturday morning.

What about racism? White nationalism? If you’re having trouble finding the connection between these institutions and milk, you’re not alone. You, along with the rest of the nation, have been so accustomed to hearing the benefits of milk that you probably didn’t even realize the subtle racism hidden in our health facts.

It may not surprise you that the United States was founded on racism. That every institution we uphold has racist roots that are sometimes difficult to catch and even harder to fight against. This phenomenon affects our voter ID laws, state testing and, yes, even our federal dietary guidelines. But how can our health guidelines, a system meant to be built upon scientific fact alone, have racist messages? Where there is a deep-rooted tradition to suppress an entire race’s existence, there’s a way.

The federal endorsement of milk in American diets contributes to the problem by uncritically pushing people to drink milk, despite the potential detriment it has on non-white people’s health.

Appeals Court Embraces Free Speech, Rules Skim Milk is ‘Skim Milk'

Truth defeats big Milk. Hopefully soy juice is next to go down.

"The leftover product is skim milk: milk that has had the fat removed through skimming."

If those words—from a unanimous 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling earlier this week—sound like some sort of dicta—words in a court decision which represent a judge's ideas or observations but aren't part of the holding of the case and which, therefore, carry little legal weight—then it may surprise you to learn the question of whether all-natural skim milk is skim milk actually go to the heart of the case in question.

The case, Ocheesee Creamery v. Putnam, has its roots in 2012, when Florida's state agriculture department ordered Ocheesee, a small creamery in the state's panhandle, to stop selling its skim milk. The state claimed Ocheesee's skim milk ran afoul of Florida's standard of identity for skim milk, which requires creameries and dairies to add vitamin A to their skim milk.

That really should be changed to skimmed milk, because skim milk doesn't even make sense.

Milk drug residues continue to drop

This ALL milk, not just organic. Keep it in mind the next time someone mentions how organics don't have drugs in them. The reality is that no milk offered for retail sale does.

According to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration report, only 1 out of 8,800 milk tankers – or 0.011 percent – tested positive for antibiotics in 2016, an 89 percent decrease since 1995.

Any tanker of milk that tests positive when it arrives at a processing plant must be destroyed. Additionally, none of the 38,563 retail-ready milk products sampled tested positive for drug residues.

“In the last two decades, the stewardship efforts of farmers and veterinarians is demonstrated by the continuing decline in traces of antibiotic residues in milk leaving the farm,” said NMPF President and CEO Jim Mulhern. “This data demonstrates the dairy industry’s never-ending commitment to producing safe, abundant, and affordable milk and dairy beef, due in part to efforts like FARM.”

Quality >>>>> Quantity.
Remember Revenge of the Nerds? Stan is milk, Ogre is raw milk, and Lewis is almondmilk. By the end of this movie, Lewis is going to have sex with Betty, who is the American buying public. Betty used to fuck glamour milk boy Stan, she was disgusted with stinky raw milk Ogre, and now she can't keep her hands off almondmilk Lewis--the smart choice.

I believe I've made my point.

Thanks to Cheesy for this link:

Facebook CEO Zuckerberg's Wisconsin visit: farm visit, raw milk, brats and cheese curds

Zuckerberg logged "a bunch of firsts" during the afternoon visit.

"First time feeding a calf, first time trying unpasteurized milk straight from a cow, first time driving a 70-year old tractor."

Of the raw milk, he said: "It was delicious."

He also hit State Street Brats in Madison and posted a picture of himself enjoying a brat and cheese curds.
