Well done. There was no mention of Mr. Bob Kirlin when I searched Michigan State football national championships on the googles.

I ended up on some article that linked college football database, thought that website was taken down. Sounds like 78 was pretty controversial, USC smacked bama on the road but they still gave bama the title.
