They should work on renaming that department to avoid use of that acronym... food for thought.

I think Couch took the lazy way out there. He has a really good point about establishing a culture....getting the right kids in leadership positions, and how if that machine is churning the room will police itself, the bad eggs will remove themselves and the machine can keep on churning because it has strong leadership at every level, which begets character. Instead he went for sticker shock angle that the winning will make everyone forget the sexual assault allegations

So you're saying there is a chance!

I would discount any MAC team on that list. MAC teams rise and fail quickly, usually based on the team experience. It makes MAC teams the best to bet on.

I have no problem with keeping things mum, nor do I think the matter with the three players & asst coach are the driving force behind the blackout. Coming off a 3-9 season, the team has a lot of work to do. The fewer distractions, the better. I wonder if MD had planned to close spring ball even before the arrests. I also wonder if we'll actually have a G&W game. JMO and wondering out loud.

So with the lack of any hype and attention, if this years team doesn't win a few games early I'm thinking attendance will get ugly real fast. Not buy 2 cokes and get a ticket ugly, but close.

It will be interesting to see what the Spring Game attendance will look like if it does happen. Will we see the same turnout as the 2015 Spring Game, or do we see something closer to the attendance at an EMU football game? I think they are going to look for any excuse they can find to cancel the game and just have a closed practice - if so, things don't bode well. They won't be able to play the actual games in the football building this fall.

Yeah, I agree. What a bunch of pussies.

I don't care if they're probably being legally advised to not talk about the investigation, but I want answers!

I sit on my LaZBoy every Saturday and contribute to the viewership, I bitch on the boards constantly about the team, I AM part of the team!

I mean, the first thing with pea soup is the texture, okay?
I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.
