Only two captains this year. Frey and Brian Allen. Teams under Dantonio never had fewer than three before.

Why not Holmes?

Scrap the program.

Maybe the third will rotate by game.

Could be something like that. I did see mention somewhere of Dantonio picking two more players for the Jedi council.

Todd McShay is jizzing in his pants, getting ready to bash LJ Scott for not being a captain this year.

I mean, the first thing with pea soup is the texture, okay?
I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Just bought my tickets to the Bowling Green game! Can't wait to get back into Spartan Stadium and to share the experience with my daughter! (Although I don't think she'll make it past halftime).

My little one went to the Spring Game a year and a half ago. Curious to see how she responds to a real football game. She's been to a bunch of baseball games and didn't seem to mind them.

One of my first I saw the USC team with Simpson light it up on us. Can't say I specifically remember any plays but I remember the game and pagentry. I was about 6 then.

Mine was MSU-um, 1972 at the toilet bowl. It was a 10-0 loss to the walvies in Duffy's last game against um. I don't specifically remember any part of the game, but I remember the husband/wife right behind us. She was a Spartan; he was a walvie. They jawed at each other the entire game. I also remember that paper mache Spartan head that rested on some poor schlep's shoulders. At the end of the game, as that mascot was heading into the tunnel, he was pummeled with crap thrown by those classy um fans. I also specifically remember that Spartan head shouting some words at those fans a 9/10 year old hasn't heard before.
It was my first introduction to the rivalry, and it was awesome.

Reminds me of the first time my dad took me to a Jets football game at Shea Stadium. We either drove or took the train into Manhattan then hopped on the 7 train to Shea. There was a guy in our subway car wearing all Jets gear yelling with a thick New York City accent "Foookin' Jets are a joke I tell ya, a joke..." and every word was fuck then something. It was hilarious. I had seriously never really heard those words before.

Also, when I was around the same age, my dad took me somewhere in the City and there was a black guy piloting the elevator and he had an earring. I looked up at him, absolutely shocked, and said "Mr., only girls wear earrings" or something like that and he said "Son, this is New York."

I know they just gave up a TD, but Pur O & D playing with energy. Talent wise they aren't very good but based on the last two weeks, Brohm has injected some life into this program.

They get some playmakers at WR and some D and they will give the West some fits.

This is indeed good news. If you read other posts, the MSU guy who does serious film breakdowns and watches games twice has some serious concerns about USC's DL.
