Classic film. I loved Idiocracy and the first 3 seasons of Silicon Valley as well.

I know Rick and Morty is a fanboy cesspool online, but it's funny as hell.

Just watched this one last night... Might have been the funniest episode of the series.

I just signed up to a 3 month free trial of Amazon Prime.  Any recommendations of Amazon original shows to watch?  I'm going to watch Man In the High Castle or whatever, and Jack Ryan when that comes out next month.

Other recommendations, and if so, why?

Season 1 of Goliath with Billy Bob was good. I haven't seen season 2.

I enjoyed Bosch a lot, but then I again I'm a big fan of the books.

What do you like?

Hand of God season 1 is good, 2 is kind of shit. I love Ron Pearlman, and he's at his best in season 1.
I also like Goliath. Both seasons. Again, strong lead in Thornton, and kind of a fun antihero thing.
Never watched Bosch
I'm not a huge fan of Man in the High Castle. It kind of dragged for me.
I like scifi variety, so I liked Phillip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. Each episode is stand-alone.
Tin Star has great characters, but kind of a dumb premise, but it's raunchy violent fun once you get through the first couple episodes.
Fleabag is funny and sad, but pretty uncomfortable.

I think that's all the Amazon originals I've seen.

I'm glad Roc mentioned Tin Star, because I'd forgotten about it but liked that, too.

Oh yeah, I also started to watch Britannia, which is kind of Game of Thrones esque. It's about the Roman Empire invading what is now Wales, I think? It's got magic and and stuff. No dragons, I don't think. I'll probably watch more of it. It has The Mayor from Walking Dead, playing a psycho Roman general. It has some hot women too.

Thanks for the recommendations, and thanks in advance to anyone else that cares to chime in. There are so many shows out there between cable, Netflix, Amazon, etc., and so many can write a good brief summary or make a good trailer, but just gets dull when it comes down to it.

Amazon Prime: I haven't watched many shows, maybe because I was doing other things. Man in the High Castle, S1 is good, S2 kind of dragged some. The Tick was entertaining. I liked Electric Dreams, then again I liked Black mirror too.
I should start Sneaky Pete, I've heard its good.
I guess I watch more Netflix. The movie selection hasn't been that great. I was thinking about canceling my membership, then got billed $120, so I guess I'll have it for another year.

I'm curious to check out the Tick. I liked the cartoon in the 90s, but wasn't crazy about the movie. That kind of humor can be really hit or miss.

I remember liking it before it got cancelled the first time, but I watched this and it just felt dumb to me. I was disappointed.
