Anyway yeah it’s funny to watch panic about Fabinho. Just let Klopp do Klopp. It’ll be okay. For us it should hopefully be a breezy game tomorrow. As for Firmino- he has no injury history, so it’s not like it’s iminent. But.... one of those three will eventually go down. We need someone like fekir or pulisic on the ready to fill in as a starter or at least to fill the last 30 for one of them every game.

The big game this week isn’t until Monday with spurs and Man U. That should be interesting

They missed a handball for a penalty in this game too before you turned it on.

The problem is just that it inevitably leads to bad conversations about “make a football move” and processes of catches.” I think there are ways to do it, but letting the ref stare at frame by frame replays isn’t it

Draw for the champions league tomorrow should be interesting. We got stuck in pot 3, which at first is like “aw come on” but upon further inspection it’s really more like the teams in pot 2 will be like “aw come on.” One of them will have to get stuck with us in a group and likely be the one that’s not favored to advance. Still 6 games to play before that of course, and there’s inter lurking out there in pot four. (You could get something like PSG, Dortmund, Liverpool, Inter all in one group. That’d be fun for everyone that isn’t a fan of one of them.)

Anyway here’s hoping for Moscow locomotive or whatever the fuck out of pot one.

Yes, it is the European Champions League, formerly the European Cup. It is the most prestigious trophy in club soccer. For comparison sake, think of it like the NCAA tournament, but stretched over the whole season with one game every couple of weeks while the conference season (domestic soccer leagues) is also going on. There is also the Europa League which is kind of like the NIT.

There was a time when it only involved the Champions of each country (hence the name), but they expanded it to make more money. Still it is a special tournament rich in history.
