And I know I'm in the minority here, but I already think LeBron is the greatest of all time. Jordan was a better scorer, but I think LeBron is better at everything else, and he makes his teammates better to an almost Magic-like degree.

I admit I am a total bandwagon fan when it comes to the NBA except I am more likely to latch on to an underdog.  And I was a big GS fan because of Green, but I have resigned myself to the thought
that Green is really a jerk and the addition of KD just made them too good
We'll see once the ball is tipped.  Jordan once he got to the top never had to play a superpower team like this where his team was the underdog - at least as I remember

On the court, Draymond is a jerk, I think he'd tell you that himself, but probably in a less mild way. But he's our jerk, and sometimes it's fun to root for the bad guy.

If Green can resist the urge to punch an opposing player in the nuts the Warriors win it. If he punches an opposing player in the nuts then Cavs win it.

If he thinks anyone needs a nut punch, he'll just have Zaza do it. Draymond learned his lesson from last year, I think.

We'll find out the first time he hits the floor. I guarantee you a Cav will step over him trying to bait him into punching the balls.

I'm gonna go out on a limb a little bit and say if Cleveland doesn't win tonight, they don't win at all in this series. They need the Warriors to be rusty from all that time off, I don't think they're in the same realm at maximum capacity.

Hope its better than the first 2 Stanley Cup games.

I'm looking forward to see how much physical defense NBA will allow since the Warriors have Curry and Durant and Cav's have James. A year ago losing Green for a game hurt the Warriors but this year with Durant the added scorer changes the equation.

Who do we think will win the series?

A question for NBA fans: Are we going to see Warriors/Cavs in the Finals again next season?

Cavs look completely outmatched by the superior talent and depth of the Warriors.

This could go down as the worst playoffs in the history of the NBA.

Don't overreact. Cleveland will get a surge of emotion and things coming together in Game 3. Games in the Finals tend to be lopsided early on in the series.

I really hope this is over in four or five games. Golden state is way better and it's apparent tonight. But of course they'll go back to Cleveland and be 2-1 after 3. Just hoping GS steps on their necks. Lebron and his cult are insufferable and hearing them complain would be great.

I think this GS team is the greatest team ever. I tend to overreact to each game, but I said I thought they had a chance at it well before the series started in some thread around here. I'll be impressed if LeBron wins a game, shocked if he wins two.

I agree. This Warriors team is loaded. This is completely different from last years matchup and I think the Warriors handle the Cavs as long as Green can resist punching a player in the balls and getting suspended.

Adding Durant while Cleveland didn't make any major additions leave Cleveland with James/Irving/Love and maybe Thompson.

Golden State leads with Curry and Durant and then they have Thompson and Green. Then off the bench are Igoudala, McGee and Livingston. Last year Igoudala and Livingston gave Cleveland fits trying to match up.

Last year Jefferson was a good contributor, this year he looks his age.

The Warriors just look like they have more of everything. Time for the Cavs to sign a superstar like Westbrook or Harden to stay competitive with the Warriors.

The Cavs put together a roster of aging shooters trying to keep up with the Warriors offense, but they forgot that the Warriors also have one of the best defenses, while the Cavs can't guard shit.

Cleveland did look old and it apeared they went to the Beilein philosophy of dropping everyone back on defense after a shot conceding possible offensive rebounds in an attempt to stop the Warrirs from scoring in 10 seconds or less.

Last year the Cavs played incredible defense. They were able to frustrate the Warriors shooters. This years Warriors offense is so much more dynamic, they can penetrate better to the basket and with their success at 3pt shooting they look impossible to cover.

I agree with everything you wrote. Cavs have regressed, Warriors have improved.

Warriors a bit careless with the ball and not quite giving the same effort defensively. Give Cleveland credit. Showing up with great intensity tonight and on point offensively.

Cleveland is playing much better tonight. I don't think Steph has been very good so far. Getting to the line a lot, but turning it over way too much. Really stupid turnovers, too.

I think they ought to play off LeBron a little bit, try and get him to take some jumpers. He's getting to the rim way too easily, and drawing lots of help for kick-outs.

Lebron is really amazing. Unquestionably the most talented player ever. Love is playing out of his mind. I thought Kyrie was about to go off there but then he missed a few. Great effort from the Cavs tonight. I don't think it will be enough but we'll see what happens in the 4th.

Cleveland is definitely going to take at least one at the Q. Even if GSW win here, series isn't over by a long shot.
