Is your boy Trump going to stop the sales of Mercedes and BMWs made in the US?

Since there is no German manufacturing presence in Northern MI I can understand why some posters don't think BMW getting kicked in the teeth after investing over $1.5B in SC is a big deal.

The real issue with Germany is their willingness to screw Eastern Europe which none of you seem to have picked up on or prefer to ignore. Of course this is nothing new to Germany if you know your history.

The new pipeline being built by Russia is specifically designed to place the Baltic nations, Poland, Ukraine etc right in Putin's crosshairs. Merkel and past German leaders think that's a great idea. So now tell me again how Trump loves Russia?

Can you include the quote where Obama threatened to ban German cars in the US? At least post the Kenyan’s quote about taxing the shit out of German imports?

Sounds like he was lying again at the end the summit when he declared other NATO nations would contribute more money. Macron called him out anyway.

Fact is BMW invested $1B in SC and followed it up with another $700M expansion. All done thinking we would have a 72 year old President with a mindset stuck in 1790-2014 when tariffs were a major source of revenue.

So the cliff notes on this whole issue are that Trump is mad that Germany is being controlled by Russia?

If trump doesn't consider Putin an enemy, why should Germany? If trump doesn't have any problems being knee deep in Russian loans and investment, why can't Germany?
