Their center was an interesting looking dude. Would like to see him again in the tournie.

They made 14 shots from outside the 3. They made 11 shots from inside the arc. I’m assuming there have been other teams to do that type of thing, but I e never seen it. They were fun to watch. When they’d throw an air ball up their coach did not give two shits. Just get the ball back, bring it down and Chuck up another. Fun stuff

If we get scoring like that from our big four Hall, Walker, Akins, Hoggard with Mandy getting rebounds and Carr Holoman Cooper adding to it here or there this is an 80 point a night team. They play good enough defense to do some damage.

Game was fun to watch. Refs sucked but were consistently bad for both teams on some shit calls. Their big guy was screwed twice. I think it screwed us up more that he wasn’t out there.

Yeah, different perspective on the game... especially with small schools. The way they can make a dent is have 5 guys that can jack 3s... they won't be able to hang with strength or speed, but a hot shooting hand and some sneaky back door cuts, you never know.
Remember old Princeton teams? Just played a little different and that's enough.

Rocket Watts comes to mind. Eron Harris until he bought in to the system.

It’s probably good Avila isn’t on a B1G team. The Izzone would’ve been brutal on him with every visit.

I’d rather run Walker off a couple of screens before letting Hoggard jack one up from deep. Some guys have a green light. Some guys have spots.

Izzo's teams are usually very strong from three - including third in the country in three-point percentage last season and leading the nation when Valentine and Forbes were seniors. That wouldn't be the case if he scared them so much they clenched up.

Akins is taking more threes this season than last season, and over the past five games he's shooting 46% from three. I listen to postgame pressers. Izzo has been talking about Akins like he talked about Joey Hauser - he's a great shooter and we just have to get him shots. There are many examples of Izzo helping shooters succeed.
