Seems like it doesn't want to embed the tweet for some reason, so here's the link: https://twitter.com/HootHootBerns/status/1227184459990040576?s=20

See where the word "status/" is? Eliminate everything from the slash back to https. Just use the number it's giving you

I thought it would be Biden, will have to see how it goes in S. Carolina but Bernie looking strong. Bloomberg definitely picking up some of Biden's supporters.

Yep, I lived with him as a mayor. Also remember it well when he was running his first campaign there was a list of racist jokes that he supposedly circulated around the office at the time that his opponent brought up. I remember him on the local news defending himself. Also, don't forget about Plaxico. That all being said the african American community is well aware of all this and starting to flock to him. Why? Because they are pragmatic and will align with who they think is a winner because they stand more to lose if Trump wins.

No. The party will fuck him over again. Just more subtly this time. There’s a “anybody but Bernie” plot afoot.

Oh. Or Warren, although she seems to be fading for I have no idea what reason.

My reading comprehension is just fine. Maybe some of my inferences are unwarranted, but that's a separate issue.

Yes, I would support Bloomberg if he were to be the nominee, but it would make me very sad to have to do so, and I'd have a tough time ever voting for another Democrat after that.

Which summarizes the decay of our political process today. No matter who or what you are, you have to run as a Dem or Rep to have a chance.

while the mainstream media wants to discourage people by thinking that the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator is unbeatable.. and had his "best week ever" last week.. The 2020 Presidential campaign. - Page 17 502811600 - here is some polling data taken after his "best week ever"..

Quinnipiac poll Feb 5-9:

Bloomberg beats Trump 51-42
Sanders beats Trump 51-43
Biden beats Trump 50-43
Klobuchar beats Trump 49-43
Warren beats Trump 48-44
Buttigieg beats Trump 47-43

take it for what it's worth..

She's a former prosecutor, which is enough for me to be strongly prejudiced against her. Plus, she's a moderate, which is not what I'm looking for.

1: Bernie
2: Warren
3-whatever: Pete, Klobuchar, Biden et al

I haven't decided yet. Waiting until a week or so before the NY primary to weigh it out. Ultimately going to vote for whoever I think gives us the best chance to beat Trump. That's the only issue I care about. If it's still a large field and a dead heat race between the centrists it's going to be a tough choice.

It’s interesting that as Sanders continues to win, the media continues to focus on Buttigieg and now Klobuchar, instead of discussing what a Sanders presidency would look like and removing the stigma around him for a lot of dem voters which is based on a misunderstanding of not only our constitution, but his platform and the history of an increased regulatory framework. We have to shake the yoke of Reagan’s anti government propaganda which lives strong today in the minds of liberals as much as republicans. If Mayor Pete gets the nomination, I predict Trump-Buttigieg-Republican just like we got Nixon-Carter-Reagan. This is a chance to make lasting change for cemented equality, half measures and status quo ain’t working anymore. The iron is hot. Gotta strike.

It feels to me like the moderates are largely promising a return to the old normal, which ignores the fact that the old normal is what gave us Trump.

A new normal is inevitable. The question is whether the new normal will be the progressive normal, or the Trump normal. We don't need to go backward, we need to go forward. It's why Yang was my first choice, and it's why Bernie and Warren are the only remaining choices I would actually feel good about.

I guess the reason that I brought Klobuchar up last night was that there was something about her in the debate the other day that struck me as genuine, and less as typical politician-speak. I hadn't given her much thought, maybe because she is almost too vanilla. But that might not be a bad thing. I don't know, I'd have to see/hear more of her, and I won't be voting in the Florida primary anyway, so I don't have to decide. But something is telling me that she might be a good VP Candidate for the eventual nominee, at least if they choose from among those running.
