How would that work? Why would they want to do that? Is the US Open or British Open moving back? No one would pay that much attention to golf after July?

Anyway, I watched some this morning, got to see Sergio implode on the front (back) 9. About to turn it back on in a bit.

So they changed it because once every 4 years there is an Olympics? I'm guessing it has more to do with trying to get back to southern states, like mentioned later in the article. I hope I'll ahve time to watch some this weekend.

This clown's gonna come back to the pack, isn't he?

Reed is -2
Casey is E
Spieth and Rory are +2

I mean, the first thing with pea soup is the texture, okay?
I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Y'all should check out Jason Day's 18th hole if you haven't already seen it. Faldo was absolutely incredulous at the decision making. It was cracking me up. He carded a quad bogey and took himself completely out of contention.

We had a shot with Casey. He was 4 under through 15 today. Not sure what happened but he finished the round Even. Reed is -2. Spieth and Rory are out of contention.

I'm watching these guys look for a ball like I do when I hit it across the other holes fairway. Don't they have cameras covering every piece of this course? It shouldn't be too hard to find.

Plus they have that red line. I would like someone to track my shots with a red line. That would be one crooked ass line.

Mine lately would look like Google Maps is telling you to make a left turn 150 yards ahead.

Not that there was ever a doubt, but that's when you know you suck. Jesus, if I crush a drive now, it goes 221.

A couple of weeks ago my son and I were playing at a course on the PA/NJ border. Last hole was a 220 yd Par 3. Kid hit a 4 iron, which I couldn't believe. Flew it pin high. I thought there were guys on the Tour that would be happy with that shot. Guess not.

IIRC, most players were hitting 5/6 irons on the Par 3 6th, which was 230 yds. I'm not sure you can make these courses too long for the majors.

The length they have is incredible. Also keep in mind that the irons they are hitting are modified as well, so a 7 for them would be like our 6 iron. Not that its much better that way. I think its Nicklaus who is trying to get them to switch to a different ball during tournaments.
