Huge moves today. The Bills traded WR Sammy Watkins and CB Ronald Darby.

Watkins goes to the Rams in exchange for CB EJ Gaines and a 2nd Rd pick. Darby goes to the Eagles in exchange for WR Jordan Matthews and a 3rd Rd pick.

Did you ever notice how the Bills logo kind of looks like Lake Superior?

The Bills haven't been the same since Ralph Wilson died.

I can't believe Thurman Thomas is still their starting running back. It's really amazing to watch a guy be able to perform at a level as high as that year after year after year for like 30 years now.

Many, many, many, many years ago, on our way back from Boston, Mrs. GreenWay and I stopped at a Buffalo area Bennigan's on the same day as a Bills' playoff game. The place was packed and a lot of the fans were sporting Bills jerseys. They were happy and boisterous. I think the Bills lost that day. I don't know where any of those fans are now. Some are probably dead.

Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Not much difference between the Buffalo and Detroit teams. Maybe we should all adopt one NFL team to cheer for this season.

This is a Thurman Thomas thread.

Here's a picture from training camp. He's looking like he's in great shape this year.

I do not think they will be very good this year.

It's the AFC East, so the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets just fight for second place. That will probably be the Dolphins followed by the Bills and Jets.

Bills told everyone that their trades on Friday mean they're tanking, so the Dolphins have 2nd place essentially sealed.

Those old school Champion NFL jerseys were fucking awesome. I had a Giants Lawrence Taylor #56 back in the day. It was $100 and this was back in the late 80s.
