White Supremacy is the foundation of our country. Knocking a statue down won't change that.

Well, this will ruffle some feathers.

The civil war saw a white supremacist nation win... and stay in power.

Students of racial history know that the Civil War was not a battle between a white supremacist faction and a moral, egalitarian Union. Rather, the Civil War was a battle between two warring, white supremacist factions. And, quiet as it’s kept, white supremacy won.

You want to know why the United States still has memorials to white supremacy while Germany does not? White supremacy was our founding principle

The simple story of a “good,” anti-racist, slavery-abolishing Union and a “bad,” racist Confederate is liberal propaganda. It was never true. The nation those racist Confederates were attacking was also racist. The Union was racist. Slavery and white supremacist racism pervaded Northern states, and many abolitionists were white supremacists.

We stole this country from its native peoples Fair and square only killing them with guns when they rejected US and colonial government deals.

If you buy the premise about the civil war it doesn't erase pre WW2 genicide in Armenia or Germany where it was acceptable to attempt to wipe out entire populations for purity of other races.

I keep asking people if they could tie the relevance of “Jocko” and the local nautical history together in some way. Any way. Haven’t got a answer. Been there a million times throughout my life. Never really gave it much thought outside of well, ok. Don’t get it but oh well. Actually took a picture with my daughter a few years back.

I’m sure gonna miss that rusty unkept statue….

Stopped in Kentucky someplace a few years ago, a farm store or something like that. They had probably 20 of them off to the side of the building, sort of on display.

It’s just crazy that something that has zero effect on their daily lives can be such a big deal.
