Re: MLB playoffs
I'm going Twins and Diamondbacks.
Diamondbacks have Grienke on the mound tonight.
I think the Twins have a decent shot tonight and since there's a surprise here and there in the playoffs I'm picking the Twins.

Pulled from Baseball Reference:
Regular season Twins record vs Yankees
NYY 2 4 19 27 .333
From NY Daily News:
Ervin Santana possibly enjoyed the best season of his 13-year career (16-8, 3.28 ERA), but he’s 6-10 with a 5.66 ERA in 20 career starts against the Yanks.
Sevirino Yankee pitcher lasted only three innings vs Twins last start in September.
From the NYPost:
Ervin Santana is 0-5 with a 6.43 ERA in six career starts at this version of Yankee Stadium. But in his last two starts there, the veteran righty has yielded just three runs in 10²/₃ innings, including two runs in 5²/₃ innings on Sept. 18.
---
From what I've read though Santana has been pitching really well in September. Twins need to get their runs early, if they're down after the 5th inning the Yankees have a huge advantage with their bullpen.

The Yankees would be a more entertaining series at least.

The Twins have a veteran pitcher starting, and they are hitting well. Last time vs Yankees he lost 2-1. He gave up 2 runs and 7 hits in 5 1/3 innings. If he matches that performance we have a game. Twins are hitting well right now and the twins also play good on the road. If I were betting I'd probably put a small bet on the Twins with the money line just to make the game more interesting.

Dodgers are gonna only win one playoff game, at the most. Hard to say who'll win it all but going with the hot teams then maybe a rematch of last year.
He said sorry because we thought you were a Cubs fan

Max is hurt isn't he? Dumbass Dusty Baker starting him in a meaningless game might cost them a shot.

In 2012 Nats shut down their ace and a lot of people argue it cost them the series that year.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
