They expend most of their energy jumping on and off the bandwagon.

Can't believe Kluber wasnt good again. Crazy. I'd Cleveland loses this they will be kicking themselves all off-season.

Pressure was on them. Cc had the hot hand and Kluber was facing a tough lineup with a little rust on his game.

My neighbor unexpectedly passed away last week. He was a big Indians fan. I loathe the team but part of me was hoping they might pull this out for him.

He had a good sense of humor and at the funeral home they had posted some of his famous jokes/sayings. One of them was "When I die, please ask the Cleveland Indians to be my pall bearers so they can let me down one last time."

Welp. Sorry to say it Terry. But I couldn't get Andrew Miller or Corey Kluber to show up and you predicted the future.

Nope. Too young. Not enough talent.

Houston vs LAD is what will happen at this point.

They are loaded with pitchers and anyone on that roster can contribute a hit. I hope Houston wins it but this Yankees team is solid.

Surprised they didn't have a better regular season. With that kind of pitching usually you are more consistent than they were in the regular season. Though they did get hot in September and that has carried through.

How relieved is Girardi? If they lose last night his questionable decisions in game 1 would be the talk of the offseason in NY. He is breathing a sigh of relief this morning.

Girardi is probably gone either way, LWS. I think he was leaving one way or another. This is just delaying the inevitable.

His contract is up after the postseason.

I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Maybe. The players love him so I wouldn't be surprised if he is back. Also, I meant his questionable decisions in game 2. DOH.

I read a fangraphs article on him a few days ago Cashman and Steinbrenner supported him. I think the fans will forgive him after getting past Cleveland.

Tonight’s game should be a thriller. I wonder how many innings they’ll get out of Scherzer.

Cleveland is now 4-18 in potential playoff series clinching games since losing the 1997 World Series.

If forced to pick I’d probably take the Cubs on the basis they are the defending champs.
