Texas Man Enters Gum Company's Contest 60 Years Late, Wins Prize

Officials at Bazooka Candy Brands—which is part of The Topps Company, Inc., an American sports company—soon received Day’s submission. After noting he’d answered the trivia questions correctly, the corporation decided to make good on their promise: The baseball fan soon received a phone call informing him he’d won the competition. Along with the baseball glove, Day also received t-shirts, a Bazooka Joe-themed pillow, and—you guessed it—plenty of bubble gum.

Orioles 1st at the end of the Weaver era, then the Angels. Probably 5-6 years with each and a pretty good player with both.

Tanaka gives up HR in the Top of the 1st to the first two Astros to come to the plate on SNB. Then loads the bases. Then gives up a GS.

I took the Yankees ML. Embarassed

I'm starting to really like Bryce Harper. Not only did he kick Strickland's ass, but he told a bunch of little leaguers the other day that participation trophies don't count. The country would be a lot better off with more people like him.
