Not sure what state's rights has to do with federal lands. Of course the Fed govt has been screwing the western States for well over a century in regards to that.

You should take a look at property rights and the control of federal land in the west. It's actually quite interesting and you can see a lot of same issues that were in play in the 19th century in play today. Grazing, mining and water.


The Federal Government Owns 61 Percent Of Idaho, 64 Percent Of Utah And 84 Percent Of Nevada.

It causes a lot resentment and problems.
