Here is the summer league bracket. Miles and the Hornets play tonight at 6. Win and they're in the Quarterfinals. JJJ plays the Jazz at 10:30.

Would be fun to have the Hornets play the Grizz in the Finals.

Hornets lost in OT but Miles was impressive again. If you haven't seen the absurd missed dunk attempt on social media you will soon. He had a number of other "oooh" and "aaaah" moments from the crowd. Shot still isn't falling but finished with 18 and 11. I think he's going to be a better NBA player than college player. The style of play suits his strengths much better.

It's not nearly as exciting watching Jaren as it is Miles. He has a few blocks but does not get involved on offense.
Bold ass prediction. After a drink. Miles is going to be a better pro than Jaren. Miles will win ROTY and be the best player in this draft class.
Ok did I go too far

Jaren has scored basically all of the Grizz' points thus far. Game on ESPN2. They win they're in the semis against whoever won the Celts/Blazers game.
Other bracket has Cavs v. Lakers.

Similar to when I knew I was getting old. Watched Trammell & Whitaker move from the minors into the bigs, then retirement. Ouch.

Yeah my two favorite players from the team I watched win a World Championship when I was 7 - I watched into college as they had "long" careers. Now both are disgraced, fired MLB managers that have no hair and one has Parkinsons and struggles getting through a game broadcast. At least Tram got into the Hall.

Nor did it ever occur to me in ‘84 how that team might be the last WS championship I’d ever see. Almost half my life later, and there’s nothing to think I’ll ever see another. At least with the Lions, I never once had dreams of a SB.

In a shocking turn of events, Ben Carter has flown in from Israel and is now in a Memphis Grizzlies uniform. You can’t make this up, folks!

Now the Grizzlies coach can join in on the fun and bench Jackson for Carter in an important game when the team is struggling to hit a shot.

Don't love it for the Spurs, I'm not a Derozan fan. I would have preferred some of the Lakers hypotheticals, particularly ones involving Ingram, but who knows what was actually on the table.

Seeing tweets that Kawai doesn't want to play in Toronto. Congrats Toronto you just acquired some locker room poison and off court drama.

All the lakers have to do is wait a season why give up their youngbloods

Like with Paul George? Never know what is going to happen. I like the move for the spurs first try didn't give in and give him what he wanted after he screwed them. Second DeRozan is a solid player with two years and an option. I wonder if the raptors are going to try to flip him to the Lakers?

. The Lakers were right not to give up anything good for Kawhi, because I think he probably signs there in a year. For the Spurs, though, I think there were better options.Other Teams Pursuing That wrote:Cameron wrote:Don't love it for the Spurs, I'm not a Derozan fan. The Pistons could have given them Drummond, Jackson, Leuer and Griffin - then flipped Leonard to the Lakers to start the rebuild.

Like who? I haven’t followed this that closely but DeRozan is a star with years left on his deal. I’d be happy if i were him joining an org like the spurs. Pop will get everything and more out of him. The guy can score at will.
