Car windows: Up or Down?

So I like to roll my windows down and put my arm out the window as I cruise down the highway to and from work. But I've noticed I'm clearly in the minority. Most of the people I pass have their windows up and the AC on even in the mornings when it's not even hot out yet. So anyway, suppose it's 82 and sunny. Do you have your windows up or down in your car? My wife will actually open her moon roof but still keep the AC on. Car windows: Up or Down? 502811600

Down. Even when it's 90+. I'm a lot more tolerant of extreme heat and sweat less lately so I'm enjoying the windows down.

No heat or air in the car. Windows always down

Down. Regularly in the mid 90's here but the heat doesn't bother me. I'll run AC about 50/50. But I'm in the minority 25-1

Anybody who says they roll their back windows down is a fucking liar. That thump thump thump sound drives me nuts. Engineers are the smartest people I know. Engineer the fucking thump out the back windows.

Oh, and 65 degrees to 40 degrees, windows down in front. Anything higher or lower windows up. The fuck is wrong with you people.

I actually draw the line at about 90. Once it gets over that I pretty much have to put the AC on, especially on the way home because my car sits in the sun all day.

Love having that fresh air flow through the car and a coffee in my hand on my way to work. But I don't roll the back ones down.

Highway: AC. Everywhere else depends on my mood, the humidity, strength of breeze, and the noise and cigarette smoke output coming from cars closest to me. Sometimes windows down/moonroof open with the AC blasting is awesome, and sometimes windows down and the heat blasting in winter is also pretty great. Don’t make me live by your quaint rules, man.

I'm with Floyd here. My kids have always hated that I despise vehicle A/C. I think it's a remnant of my smoking days.....but I've always rolled with the windows down.

*the exception to the rule - we were in the desert once near Death Valley and it was actually cooler to have the windows up.
