Ignoring your partisan angle, there would have been a smoother transition with the Obama administration, she wouldn't have dumped whatever pandemic guys Trump dumped, her staff would have paid more attention at the pandemic transition meeting, and more of her staff would have still been intact from that meeting (whereas countless Trump team members have been fired or bailed that were at the meeting).
