Curry is healthy right now, he is fucking on point. He was not hitting shots the way he is right now this late in the year in either of the past two seasons. Credit Kerr for forcing rest upon his top guys. Warriors have won 12 in a row.

If they win tonight, with the SAS loss earlier to the Lakers, they clinch the 1 seed. KD is projected back Saturday. I'm sure Kerr would like to rest Curry, Thompson, Draymond (sitting out tonight, along with Iguodala) for the last 4 games but they've got to figure out a way to get the chemistry right with KD going into the playoffs. Not sure how that's gonna work.

Honestly imo they could sit KD out until October and coast to a Championship.

A lot of that will depend on if lebron decides he'd rather play basketball than hear himself talk

I don't think it's gonna matter. Steph couldn't play last year. He was beat up and couldn't shoot. He's back to being Steph at the right time this year. Klay was awful last night but the night before he was 7-14 from 3. Warriors are gonna roll unless they can't integrate KD in time.

He played pretty well last night, and in the playoffs last year.

We're talking about 2017, not 2016, Nigel. Try to keep up.

Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Gary had a fucking nice monster dunk over someone and an and one. I recorded it on my phone and uploaded to my flickr account but I don't know how to post a video anonymously so not posting it. It was sweet though. Let me see if I can find it on twitter.

I watch a lot of NBA guys. I don't think it's premature to say that Gary is becoming one of the better 2s in the league. He's not a "superstar" and may not ever be one, but he's incredibly efficient. Shooting at a very high percentage, defending well. He's gonna be a 20+ ppg guy next year shooting 40%+ from beyond the arc.

Like J Rich can carve out 100+ million over 10+ years in the league.

I was watching tonight and Forbes finally got in garbage time in the 4th quarter and the announcers (Jackson?) was talking about his explosion and how "he has game but the Spurs are so deep it will be hard to make it.  But other teams surely are taking notice."
I think that was a compliment but I always had the impression the Spurs were investing in Forbes to play for their own team or else they wouldn't have wasted their time

I think he's a good stash for them. He's not good enough to be in their regular playing rotation but with attrition over the next couple of years he may be.

Some funny shit on NBA on TNT if you're bored tonight. Halftime of the Pistons game they are showing highlights of other games and Chuck starts denouncing the "man-bun" that seems to be making its way around the league. EJ mentions that they have a guy on the production crew with a man-bun and they call him onto camera. Chuck and Kenny start goading him and ask him how much to let Chuck cut it off on live TV? He says $1,000. Chuck agrees, they shake on it. Shaq tries to get Chuck to up to $5k but Chuck says they already agreed. Apparently coming up at halftime of the Rockets/Clippers game.

Gary bout to get paid.

The Denver Nuggets intend to discuss a contract extension with Gary Harris this offseason when he first becomes eligible.

“I still don’t think the league appreciates how good he is and how young he is,” Nuggets GM Tim Connelly said.

Harris has improved his scoring average and his shooting percentages from the field in each of his first three seasons.

“Gary’s going to be here for a long, long time,” Connelly said.

“He’s a guy that kind of embodies everything that we’re trying to be, both as a player and as a person,” Connelly said. “Whether it’s this summer or whether it’s the following summer, he’s going to be here for a very long time.”

Connelly never wavered on Harris becoming a key part of their team.

“Sometimes you have to go with your gut – 6-4, long arm, fast-twitch athlete with a nose for the ball defensively who can make shots and cares,” Connelly said. “I think you can get too lost at times in analytics and too lost at times not seeing the forest for the trees. Now, he’s taken a monstrous step.”

The Memphis Grizzlies 2017 Exit Interview

3. How Much Gas Does Zach Randolph Have Left in the Tank?
Fizdale moved Randolph to the bench this season partly to modernize the Grizzlies offense, and partly to extend his career by playing him fewer minutes and using him against lower-quality competition. However, with their season on the line in the playoffs, Fizdale leaned on his old warhorse, moving him back into the starting lineup and significantly increasing his workload from the regular season. Randolph didn’t dominate San Antonio like he did back in 2011, but he more than held his own in the series, averaging 13.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game and getting into LaMarcus Aldridge’s head with his physical play.

Randolph will be going into his 17th season in the NBA next year, and his ground-bound game has allowed him to remain relevant long after most of his peers have retired. It’s not like he’s going to get any slower or jump any lower off the floor, so he should be able to maintain his production for a few more years yet. At some point, Memphis will need to get younger up front just to add more athleticism to the team, but there’s no reason they couldn’t bring Randolph back if he’s willing to take a pay cut from the $10 million he made this season.

Denzel getting some PT in a blowout. I haven't really been paying attention, so I don't know how he's doing. Hoiberg should have played him when it actually mattered, their two biggest weaknesses seem to be 3 point shooting and a lack of playmakers.

Just checked the box score and looks like he's 0-1 with 2 rebs and a block in 8 minutes so far.

Hard to take much from this considering it's a bunch of bench warmers giving minimal effort in garbage time, but I've seen Denzel take 3 shots and not come particularly close to hitting any of them. One was an airball from 3.
