isn't the driver. It's those fucking short chips. If I start going bad with the driver I have no issues putting it away.

I would guess this is related to pre-round prep. Seems like it's taking you a while to get into a groove, meaning you're either not warming up enough or properly.

I had the exact opposite problem this season - I was consistently starting hot and losing concentration or energy on the back 9.

You've got the yips. Try talking to the club pro, or overlap grips. Or just take a rain check on the yips.

I'm pretty sure my shaft is too short. It's also crooked.

Got a TaylorMade Spider putter for Christmas and a Michigan State poker chip ball marker that has an additional magnetic ball marker in it.

Cannot wait until spring comes so I can try it out and work on my game again. I lettered twice in golf in HS, but my game has really fallen off the last couple of years with all the work in grad school.

101 from the whites on blue monster today. 15 mph or more winds, so happy with that.

Yup. I'll live with it. Had a few awesome shots and 3 blow up holes. 4 holes in a row that were triple bogey. 260 out after hitting in the drink on 18. On the green with a three wood. 2 putt for a bogey.

That's not bad at all given the winds. Bet that would beat 60-70% of all golfers out there on that course. I believe that's what InTenSity shot - good for him for counting all his shots.

For most golfers, I add 5-7 shots per round, maybe even more, if they play with me. But it's not fair because I actually know the rules.

How many yards does the course play form the Whites? Didn't mean to bash you but triple digits ?

The member hasn't played a member/guest tournament in about 5 years or so, but that is how it was last time. Another guy I know, but a member at another club said theirs is a scramble format. Honestly, this is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities. He said he's going to push it through so his company foots the bill. I shot an 85 over the weekend, but the course was only 5500 yards.

Practice round is done. I didn't take any pics today. I shot a little bit better without wind, but it was getting hot, about 92 or so according to my car. I think I finished with a 93 or a 94 from the blues. Was having a good round on the back until 18 and blew that one up.

First day is done. I think we lost 6 holes on the front, but won 7 on the back. Anyway, I think I won a new driver too, plus a few other things. Pics later, will try to take one of the cart girl.
Blue monster tomorrow.

So, I won an R15. It's selling for around $400. We're in second or third in our flight, but we beat the guys in first. Tomorrow is the final day. If we can keep our pace up, I think we win. I'll try to take a pic of the cart girl but they frown on it.

My best shot of the day was a 3 wood into the wind about 200 yards to get on in two to win the match.

Tomorrow is the second championship round in the league I play in. The course is wide open and I play it pretty well, which means I'll probably shoot about 105, instead of 85.

I'll let you pick.

Also, can you make some suggestions as to how I should style my hair? I want it to look nice as I drive Up North in my SUV with my very attractive yet non-threatening family.

Instagram would appreciate any efforts you may wish to put forth.

Intensity. Let's get together this summer. I'll come down. We can play my course and all the courses you can get us on. I do have reciprocity with a bunch of great courses. Pelican marsh is fun.

Learn to hit the ball like a player and all courses become Par 3's.

So fucking hot on the west coast in the summer. I'm going to try to make a trip up mid May. It depends on when my son will have surgery and be ready to travel again. I'll play, but would definitely need some coordination to get the free rounds in. After June a lot of the sales guys go out to CA or up to TN and VA, so they aren't around to take me golfing. I'll let you know the next time I'm heading up to central FL.
