Bourbon and whiskey drinkers

Looking for some recommendations.. Specifically a bargain bottle to mix with ginger beer and then a more expensive sipper. Whatcha got?

Buffalo Trace with ginger beer/ale is really good

If you want a dirt cheap Bourbon, try Evan Williams

Bulliett is also a good mid-range Bourbon

I'm a consistent drinker of Jack Daniels.. so I'm not going to be much help for you if you want diverse recommendations.

Some others I like that can be sipped or mixed

Templeton Rye
Mitcher's American Whiskey (better than their straight bourbon IMO)
High West Double Rye
Elijah Craig
Maker's Mark (less flavor than the others IMO, but still good)
Eagle Rare (similar to Buffalo Trace, aged longer)
Wild Turkey 101... if you wanna get blasted

All bourbons are good bourbons and have different flavors. I like to mix it up.

Only brands I've had that I'm not a big fan of Beam brands (except Maker's) or Woodford.

Not a huge Jack fan, but will do Jake and Coke in a pinch. I got a bottle of Gentleman Jack that I'm looking forward to trying.

Elijah Craig 12 year is my go to for a great bourbon for it's price point. $26 a bottle. Can't beat it.

Agree. Only a couple bucks more but makes Makers taste like gasoline.

As for the OP, Seagrams 7 for mixing. Jameson or Woodford for sippin'

I'm getting into Irish Whiskey though.

Teeling is a little pricey, but damn is it good with a splash of water.

Oh I definitely drank it all, but I wouldn't buy it again..cheap liquor and beer do the trick for me.

My Daughter got me a bottle of Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye for Christmas. She knew I liked Rye whiskey, neither of us knew she stumbled on the 2016 world whiskey of the year. She was looking for Bulleit but couldn't find it up here so "settled" for this....

Got a bottle of makers mark for Xmas. Haven't had it in a while and I'm looking forward to it. It used to be my favorite and want to see how it measures up to my current favorite bourbons.

I bought my brother some of it for X-mas cause he's one of those people. Just want to know if I'll be getting coal in my stocking from him next year or not.
