Glenn Winston on the comeback trail
I'm sure that some were aware that he played at Northwood this year. Apparently he decided to leave school even though he had a year of eligibility left (he is 25 already). He has attracted some interest from NFL teams and is actually a possible late round draft pick. He definitely fucked up his opportunity here and is responsible for what is the low point of the Dantonio era, but hopefully he has really turned his life around after everything that he has gone through, including what he brought on himself.

I just hope he stayed away from Fricks while he was in Midland.

Awesome that he was able to get his life together. I believe he would be the second player who left after Rather Hall to make it to the NFL.

Rucker was only suspended, not removed from the team.

Doesn't quite sound like it's together... it sounds like he needs this badly.
Dude was a beast.

I will have a good thought for Glenn that he gets drafted into a good situation for him. He was an explosive and even more a powerful runner. He certainly has the body and skills. If Greg Jones is in his corner, then I'm taking that as a sign that he feels he is worthy of another chance.
Besides he started for a Big Ten team and if you can do that, you can get a shot in the NFL but Worth and Gholston for sure.

I don't really think it matters if he's drafted - he'll land somewhere as a UDFA, and have a shot at being cannon fodder on special teams, at least during the preseason.
Might even stick, you never know. I wish him well.
