My understanding is that a Pitt internet rumor guy posted it as a rumor that he wants to transfer closer to home and Duzzi/Pitt was a possibility. It then got picked up on twitter and on Spartymag, etc and reposted a few times.

Makes zero sense. Yeah, Nicholson is going to drop out of school mid semester and take a year off so he can transfer to a Big East school. Ok. Or actaully I don't even know what conference Pitt is in, frankly.

FWIW - this is the UM team that I've been hoping MSU would play, sure it has been fun winning. But it has felt like kicking someone when they are down, winning on Saturday will be an accomplishment.
FWIWx2 - if your that worried about this year, then write off next year because we lose the winningest QB ever at State and will have to play someone who has played a total of maybe 15 snaps in college.

This is what will happen. um will go up on MSU, maybe by 2 scores. They will dominate in certain parts of the game, but in the end, MSU will come back and win by 1 or 2 points. Seidel will then rank um #7 and MSU #12, explaining that even though um lost, they looked better than the final score dictated.
