For educational purposes could you please compare the number of mass shootings in that era to now?

one of my favorite parts about the fine patriotic republicans who want everyone to be armed with a gun.. is that they'll defend someone's right to arm themselves and shoot as many people as possible..

and then fight tooth and nail to take the healthcare away from the people that have been shot.

Look, if we are spending all of our money lobbying congress to keep the 2nd in tact, then have to turn around and spend money on the people who are getting shot, that's just throwing good money after bad.  Every society has a breaking point.

Since we’ve had criminals even prior to the invention that of gunpowder limiting their access to firearms is not acceptable to freedom loving Americans.

A GOP Congressman gets shot, spends months in the hospital during a difficult recovery and still supports a hands off approach. Essentially willing to take another chance on his life and other American rather than anger the NRA.

FYI - you guys have my permission to politicize the heck out of my untimely death if I'm shot in a mass murder.
