Anyone ever do a MLB stadium tour?
Buddies and I wanna hit the road this summer for a week or two and see a bunch of MLB stadiums. Fenway is the one I really want but I think it would be sweet to see others on the way. Has anyone done this?

No, but I do enjoy summertime when I can catch both a Nats and an O's game the same weekend. Baseball is such a great sport to watch live in various stadiums. Have fun, Wakefield.

Toured Fenway. It's awesome and do the third one for the batting practice on the green monster.

It's fucking baseball.
Anyway if you're gonna do it start in DC and head north. You can hit Bawlmore then Philly, NYC and then beantown. If you're driving you could hit the burgh and cleveland on way back to michigan

The new Yankee Stadium sucks. Citi field is the better park.

Really? I liked it a lot - And I grew up going to the old Yankee Stadium and Shea.
I've been to all four.
I'd rank them
1) Yankee Stadium
2) Citi
3) Shea (it was a huge shit hole but it had charm. Wish I had been there during a playoff game I heard that thing would literally rock)
4) New Yankee Stadium

Re: Anyone ever do a MLB stadium tour?
Done a few in chunks.
NL Cubs to Milwaukee to Minnesota to St. Louis and AL White Sox over 10-11 days.
Fenway to Yankee Stadium to Philadelphia back to Shea when I was in RI.
Cleveland to Cincinnati to Pittsburgh
San Diego to LA Dodgers to SF back to LA Angels (back when airline tickets were cheap.
Made a Texas Rangers/Houston trip.
Haven't been to AZ, Atlanta either Florida team or Seattle.

You should start in Denver so OTPT doesn't feel left out.

Re: Anyone ever do a MLB stadium tour?
Bump. Got it almost all planned out:
June 2: Royals @ Indians. Gonna need lots of beer because of that stupid fucking drum
June 3: Angels @ Pirates. Looks like one of the best parks when I've watched on TV
June 4: Brewers @ Phillies. Meeting my friend from DC here and he's gonna tag along for the rest
June 5: Blue Jays @ Red Sox. The one I'm most looking forward to. Hopefully it gets bumped to Sunday Night Baseball
June 6: Angels @ Yankees
June 7: Turn back for Cubs @ Phillies OR head south for Royals @ Orioles, what do you guys think?
June 8 (maybe): Cards @ Reds. Underrated ballpark
Just got a sick tax return so I think I can justify this trip. Looks like a good time. Lots of new ballparks and a pretty good lineup of games.

Skip one or both of the Phillies stops and do a couple minor league parks. Cheaper and more fun. Win.

Definitely do Camden. Great park. I would also do the Nats stadium if you can work it in. Never been there but not far from Baltimore.

Excited for Camden. I know I won't get tired of it but my friends might get a little crabby if we extend it to Baltimore. Hopefully they're cool with it
Nats aren't in town then but I went to a game a few years ago. Pretty meh, don't remember anything noteworthy about it. I actually have quite a good list of stadiums for a 22 year old. Detroit (both), Chicago (both, didn't get to Comiskey), Cinci, Milwaukee, Minny (Metrodome, but I'm visiting a friend this summer for a week and i'll get to Target), Old Busch in StL, Washington, Toronto, and Miami. Pissed that the Mets won't be in town cause that would be the last East coast park.

Did you get to a game last year? They re-did the whole right field corner, sell standing room tickets for $13 (last year anyway) and that includes your first drink.
Wakefield, you can find plenty of drinking establishments walking distance from the ballpark, many more for a $5 Uber.

Bump. Bought tickets for myself and 3 buddies for all these ^ ($160 total). Gonna be a fuckload of driving and we might be late to a game or two cause we're cutting it close, but these are the only dates that work and it's gonna be such a sick trip no matter what. Can't wait. My only regret is that the Subi won't be with me this time

Royals @ Indians tonight. Bars should be hoppin before the game with Cavs fans. Lucky night to be in the boring shithole that is usually Cleveland.

A guy living in Miami sent a TY letter to Loria a few years ago. Here in Miami we can do the opposite of a stadium tour. You can see every team play for probably less than $10 a ticket throughout the year. Yankee's you might have to pay $25.

Seriously, try to hit W. 25th area, Great Lakes Brewing, is there, a number of good restaurant/bars, then head to E. 4th and eat at Mabel's and watch the parade down the street.
Short walk to the game from there.

I've been to two major league stadiums and neither one still exists. Of course, the last major league game I went to was in 1986.

Try to check out Church Brew Works before the game, great place to worship the suds.
Then head downtown, multiple choices for trouble.
