What are your favorite meat brands?
I will try anything from Boar's Head. They have the best deli meat. Also a fan of Dearborn Brand. Their encased franks are solid and the spiral ham just as good if not better than Honeybaked. What say you?

Koegel Viennas are the best hot dog out there.
Brats I tend to like store made, Valley Market in Pinconning and Louies in St Helen both make a good one.
Walsh packing in Pigeon makes some fine breakfast links.

I only buy Boars Head meats, unless I'm buying Polish ham, capiciola and other exotic meats.

Re: What are your favorite meat brands?
LG is right about Koegel Viennas (GFS sells them). Have not made them in a while but my favorite homemade coney is Koegel's, National Coney Island sauce (comes frozen in 1 1/2# containers), white onions, French's mustard, and buns from Nino Salvaggio's. Nino's buns are the best. Have a little bite to them and not spongy like most shitty hot dog buns...stand up well to the coney sauce.

I butcher my own meat. Commercially bought meat is OK I guess. Not for me though.

Hofmann Franks are the best I've ever had. A bit better than Koegel Viennas IMO. But I understand the Flint sentiment.
