Looked for hair clippers today. All the ones I checked had delivery dates the 3rd week of May or later. Hoping my regular clip joint is open by then.

Been using Home Depot a bit and just discovered Etsy. Basically Amazon for speciality items.

A lot of Target and Walmart. Prefer Target as they give an additional 5% off and free shipping on most things if paid with the Target red card credit card. But Walmart has had more availability of somethings. Target's curbside pickup is pretty smooth of you find something that is in store. I haven't done curbside at Walmart, only delivered through regular shipping methods.

I have looked at some masks on Etsy, but not sure if I trust them. Just feels like it is all people making things in their home. But maybe they're supposed to look like that even if it is a bigger company behind it.

I am a warm sleeper, I can't stand being trapped by big comforters so I was worried about the weight and material. The materials blend works well for me, no overheating and I've been sleeping like a baby. I said I would wait a month to recommend it to anyone just in case it rips or something goofy but no complaints so far and has met my expectations. Plus, 39 bucks was a steal, I almost bought one a year ago that was like 100-150 bucks and I think this one works great

Best toilet bowl scrubber I’ve ever used. Fits comfortably in the hand. Shape of the scrubber is such that it’s easy to get under the rim and into tight corners. Only $15.99. Currently out of stock until early December. Found out about it during a search of the topic. Named best scrubber by the liberal hacks at the New York Times.

Only problem is, since covid arrived, refill pads are either unavailable or stupid expensive from Amazon sellers. Last time I went to order refills it was much cheaper to order a brand new wand with a number of pads than order just the pads.

I bought some socks today. They were $12.

Wish they made the pads flushable

They're small enough they likely are flushable. But, they require some plastic to structure them and sewage treatment plants probably don't like that. Not something you'd want to flush into a septic tank either.

I grew up with a septic tank and have it engrained to never flush anything but tp, but agree that a ton of people probably do since they are so small
