Was in Asheville last month.. hit up the Early Girl, Jack of the Woods, a few vintage places on Lexington Ave - had a great time, as usual. Probably heading back down in either June or July.

good hearing from you - I was (more or less) permabanned at tRCMB (those guys don't have a sense of humor.. you may have noticed) - so tSwill bestowed my own forum upon me.. thanks for checking in. Come back often.

Just found this place, missed you over on the other board.

Been to any good shows recently? Caught Blitzen Trapper down in Greenville two weekends ago, check them out if you have not.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones last weekend at Downtown After 5, The Broadcast opened and were good, too.

Nothing this coming week, but Leftover Salmon at Pisgah, and Whitey Morgan at Grey Eagle the first week of June.

I have seen Blitzen Trapper - oddly enough, they played at The Loft in Lansing a year or so ago. So far this year, I've only seen The National and The Hold Steady. Deer Tick opened for THS, so that was one sweet show. Going to see Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit next month.

Trampled by Turtles is coming to Pisgah Brewing Co. I noticed - that would be a great show.
