it's looking like a sandwich from home day.. wasn't sure what I might do so I threw a turkey sandwich (with swiss and a peppercorn mayo) into my man purse before heading out the door..NigelUno wrote:The hot dog place?

I had to work a bit earlier so I missed my traditional lunchtime festivities.. came home, gonna mow a little bit - chowing on some Frosted Flakes..
not exciting, I know..

mulch..NigelUno wrote:

if you mow enough - and I mow the front about every 4 days - mulching is really the only option. I don't let it get shaggy enough to have to bag.

Do you ride or push?
Also, why don't you make your daughter do the yard work? That way you would have more time for bible study and reading up on MSU recruiting.

ya know, I've actually been considering teaching her the art of mowing the lawn.. this may be the summer to do it.Turtleneck wrote:

that way, as you suggested, I could spend more time on bible study and designing my new faith-based homeschool curriculum..

At least one child in this country is being raised the right way. Congrats, Bob. Keep up the good parenting work.

I had a gyro supreme at a new Greek restaurant in Lansing today. It is called "Athena's" and is at the corner of Hamilton and Cedar Street. Really tasty cucumber sauce, plenty of tomatos and gyro meat, plus the pita bread was tender and tasty. Counter staff was nice and the place had a good energy going on.
This place used to be "Jon's Country Burger", a place that I avoided. Athena's gets a thumbs up. Tell 'em MasonGuy sent ya'!

will do - I do like a good gyro. I'm just never near that part of town.. but if I do find myself down that way, I'll be sure to stop in.
