Valenti spot on today
You can tell if you have good assistants if other programs want to hire them. Crickets with his staff since Duzzi left.
We've won despite our offense and the chickens are coming home. Need to adapt or die.

I wouldn't call Valenti a credible person to use as analysis on this team.
However, the OP is a Valenti sheep, so I guess I'm just talking to a wall.

Shit, check out Muddy's staff. Fucking five star.
Also, the dumb ass has no idea if our assistants had offers. Zero. Tons of that shit stays in house.
40-5. = great staff tons of continuity great job
2-2. = same staff sucks, get rid of people. I get that too. Kid hangs on Valenti's sack and parrots what he says.

I have no concerns on the offensive side of the ball. I even like and support Warner. (Yes, even now.)
But on D, I'm not so sure. That D just hasn't looked the same since PN left.

Mikey V also right that both Snyder and Bollman were both kind of ran out of town by their former employers.

Nooooo, are you saying he might hear opinions and bring them. back here? No way!
Next thing you know you'll be saying he follows recruiting when he's told the board he doesn't. Please leave him alone. He's misunderstood.

That's the point. Defense doesn't shut people down anymore which means you need to put up points.

There are alot more people on this board with more inside info on the staff than Valenti. you couldn't get a guy more on the outside than him.

Probably the "insider" Dude gets his "scoops" from. I can't believe people actually take analysis from a glorified shock jock seriously.

Re: Valenti spot on today
This staff has won championships for Christ sakes. This team just isn't that good. It could be anything. A bad off season. Lack of team leaders, too much out of program stuff. Who knows.
If blame lies with the staff, I hope Dantonio straightens shit out. Either by moving guys out or self evaluation and getting back to the grind. If it's the players, I hope there are leaders who realize it's a 12 month gig now, and to get the team to get to workouts and film room.
If that shit doesn't happen, meh, I'm old who the fuck cares.

LOL! Now there's some solid insight from a resident expert! "It could be anything."
Fuck it...I'm hereby declaring myself an expert on all things football! Just remember, it could be anything. The length of the grass, the fiber in MD's diet, the atmospheric pressure at kickoff...anything!

Well that's alright, you'll have better days.
Could it be the recruiting failures (and attrition) along both lines, that we were too fat, drunk and happy to notice earlier? I mean, an expert once told me that it all start in the trenches. Is that true?

Not sure you know what "high level" means with the 49ers.
You want to seriously argue about that? I mean...you'd look pretty fucking stupid...
