Truth be told I didn't get to see much of the MSU game. I have it on DVR but ended up at a bar in the 2nd half when MSU was already up 35-0.

Lame. The theory that I only show up after losses is not only false but in fact the opposite is overwhelmingly true.
You need to look in the mirror, stop whining, and let go of your insecurities about message board posters saying bad things about the Spartans. Perhaps then you could even contribute to the sports discussion yourself. As you can see there is plenty of it going on here.

I finally watched the Rutgers game last night although I fell asleep in the 2nd half. Sorry, but I just don't have any earth shattering analysis to offer. It is good that they won and they didn't just give up and tank further. This provides some hope for the future but that is not saying much. Every team opens up a season with hope.

I used to work at a company with some people just like this. They never produced any actual work and then would show up at meetings to criticize others. They never added anything meaningful to the discussion but would just point out typos and disagree with anything that didn't paint a rosy picture for the company. They would work behind the scenes to get the actual valuable staff members demoted or fired for not keeping the party line and to cover their own ass because they felt threatoned. Eventually the company went under and got sold off in parts.

we lost to a uk team that has no inside game, poor handles, and turnover overs the ball a lot....by 20. that is not a good team right now. kansas last year beats them by 10+ easily
