Is that a big deal now? 35 years ago when I was just starting my league I'd regularly shoot in the 50s.

You forgot to mention that on his drive, he hit a tree and bounced out to the fairway from 225 yards away, used a fucking 5 iron, but came up short to land in the sand. Then he sunk it from there. The other guy came pretty close to putting in his birdie putt from off the green.

Jordan Spieth takes the Travelers! He and Tiger Woods are the only golfers since 1983 with double-digit wins before their 24th birthdays.

Fun fact. Maude-Aimee LaBlanc led the LPGA in driving distance at 279.3 in 2017

It would have led the PGA tour in 1980...

There have been a lot of equipment improvements since 1980.

I was curious as to the what would have led the LPGA driving distance in 1980, unfortunately the LPGA did not keep track of the stat until 1992.

In 1992 Laura Davies led the LPGA tour in driving distance at 258.87 yards.  Leblanc represents an increase of 17.05 yards or 6.59%

In 1992 John Daly led the PGA tour at 283.4 yards.  Rory McIlroy led the tour in 2017 at 317.2 yards.  An increase of 33.8 yards or 11.93%.

Yesterday after his round I saw Bubba interviewed and jokingly said he'd need to shoot 10-under today to give the leaders something to think about. What's he do? 63 lol.

Also just heard Hubie Green passed away earlier this week at 71. Very sad.

Yes. I looked into it. Had no idea of the expense, commitment, and travel involved. Was jacked going into the idea, but came out disappointed after reading up on it. I still might actually pursue it, just not now.

You can probably get a membership at The Greenbrier cheaper and they'll throw in the falconry.
