Don't forget the "extending the olive branch of wine" narrative you've been trying at, too.

When he first encountered her, brandishing a weapon... she had her hat on and a bandana. For example, here...

The political hodge podge thread - Page 2 Xmwppv47b6sy

After he knocked her bottle out of her hand by engaging her, the mask came off slightly. Kind of difficult to ascertain gender of masked attackers in the middle of a melee (that she came specifically to start).

When he encountered her a second time, the mask was removed. I'm not entirely confident he could ascertain her gender at that point with as much action occurring as there were... However, just before this confrontation, another guy, who was standing in the middle of the groups trying to "settle things down" (idiot) got a bottle smashed over his head by a masked female and had to be hospitalized. Lauren Southern got attacked by a masked female who had to be pushed back by men. I thought you guys were the gender equality types... if you have women violently attacking you with weapons... do you not defend yourself?

So long as you didn't raise wannabe revolutionaries who show up to free speech rallies to start a riot, you should be okay.

Democrats hyped up special elections in KS and GA and failed both times even though they poured unprecedented amount of outside money into those races lol.

Is my logic wrong here with these 'free speech' rallies? It seems to me that certain speakers want to spread hate and if they were to have their way would eventually suppress people and speech. It seems to be hate speech, under the guise of free speech, and the strategy is to get the other side to attack first, then blame them, while feeling free to attack back harder.
What am I missing here? Berkeley isn't known as being a conservative hotbed, so lets go talk about white supremacy and see what happens?

from what I can tell, though I certainly don't follow mainstream media accounts of events like this, neither side is real big on open dialogue and free speech. It turns violent, though, when the right wing, white supremacist supporters of the sexual predator begin to violently attack people - such as the young lady in the video.

If folks wanna sit and screech at each other all day, I don't really care - when it becomes a disturbance of sorts, the police need to step it. When it becomes violent, not only do police need to step in, but the legal system does, as well. We can't have fragile snowflakes who don't like being challenged - by females, especially - resorting to physical violence.

Democratic donors put money into a highly publicized special election? Shocking. How much did the republican PACs dump in?

Honestly, it was advertised widely by the candidate who won. Violence at rallies is acceptable and encouraged. Pretty fucked up.

Which speakers are those and what did they say that you consider would lead to suppression of free speech?

If you look at the first few free speech rallies Antifa would show up and just jump people waiting in line to see the speech. It seems to me like you're excusing the behavior of the people that came with that girl to violently suppress someone else's free speech because you're saying if the free speech rally people had it their way they would shut down the other's? What kind of weird logic is that?

There is no tactic to get them to attack because until this one they didn't have the numbers and would always get their events shut down (their free speech rights violated).

Why do you automatically assume that people that show up with explosives, weapons and dressed in kevlar gloves, with masks need some sort of provocation to fight? They came to the event specifically to start trouble. Did you not look at what she was saying in the car on the way to the event?

Go ahead and watch one of the many recordings that were live streaming in the middle of it all that day. It's pretty clear what was going on and what the intentions were.

The simple solution is the group showing up to the event specifically to use violence should not show up... or start getting arrested.

That's all it takes. You're trying to put the burden on those holding a free speech rally to stop violence they aren't starting and up until now didn't return. Instead of putting it on the people who show up specifically to start a riot.

Trump had a pretty major hand in the escalation of these rally protest/fights. You reap what you sow.

Oh, well... that settles it.

Trump encouraged violence against people showing up to his private rallies to protest him.... therefore, you are in the right if you show up to someone else's rallies in order to start a riot in order to shut it down.

Good to know.

Well, you did say in the Milo thread you didn't care that his event got shut down (due to violent suppression of free speech).

So, then when it ("it" being a group of people with a particular mainstream political ideology, that believes they are in the right to show up to other people's rallies in order to get them violently shut down) happens again and you invoke Trump into the conversation (similar to how conservatives would always, and still sometimes, bring up Obama every time something went wrong) followed by "you reap what you sow"... instead of saying anything negative about those who arrived with the intent to use violence against those attending a rally.

So you take those two things into account, and... It's a pretty good guess that, at the very least, those are your private feelings.

No. The fascist left doesn't believe the bill of rights applies to people who disagree with them politically.

It's also why they have historically low amounts of political power. They've become mentally deranged and completely detached from reality.

It's pointless to blame either side to the exclusion of the other.

To X's point, there are lots of antifa fucks out there whose express purpose is violence (and I don't find them deserving of sympathy when it is returned to them in kind, regardless of gender). To the others' point, there are also lots of fucks out there who are super happy that antifa is willing to start shit because all they want out of life is to beat on some liberals and that gives them justification. When I see the video footage, no matter which side I look at (when I can even tell who is on which side), all I see is a bunch of people looking for a reason, any reason, to start swinging. I see few if any people looking to have a constructive dialogue and build understanding among groups of people who want what's best for America but disagree about what that is or how to achieve it. Because that is never going to be accomplished by showing up to a designated conflict spot to yell at people you've never met about views you assume they hold, and everyone involved has to know that on some level.

I know the name but have never listened to his show.

I never could stand Hannity's smugness, never listened to him.

Used to catch Rush maybe 2-3 times a week for an hour or two while I was on the road (ended in 2011).

Like Mark Levin but haven't listened regularly for 5 years or at all for 3-4. Same for Ingraham.

Good Work if you can get it:

How did Cuomo make $783,000 on memoir that sold 3,200 copies?

That's $245 a book for the Nigel level posters. But he's a D in NY so this will be no big deal.

"Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo reported his income last year "

"The governor reported an adjusted gross income of $417,748 for last year. That is up from $196,243 the previous year, according to copies of his federal and state tax filings that were shown to reporters at the Capitol on Monday."

"Cuomo previously reported – for tax years 2013 and 2014"

"2016 tax filings made public Monday, "

"Cuomo’s total federal tax in 2016 was $113,570 and his total tax on his New York returns was $27,731. He reported non-taxable interest of $9,960. He listed $45,417 in itemized deductions, including $7,450 for tax preparation fees and $20,000 in charitable donations."

"The Cuomo administration also made public copies of Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul’s 2016 tax returns"

Gov. Cuomo is a great taxpaying American who is very respectful of our country's institutions and it's citizens.

Don't these celebs get paid BEFORE the book is written? I'm not following. He wrote a book, someone picked it up and published it and then said, "hey it only sold a couple of hundred, but here's a shit load of money we want to give you. I thought these contracts were a gamble for publishing companies. They bid on them thinking they might get more in return. What type of deal did he have?

Oh, and did we learn this because he allowed people to look at his taxes? Why would a politician do that?

How gullible are people like Wags and Bob to fake news if it confirms their bias?

You guys do know that the woman who got hit in Berkeley is a fake victim, right?

She said on FB she was 'nervous af but determined to bring back 100 Nazi scalps.'

She then shows up with a backpack full of weapons, masked face, and starts assaulting people.

That fascist bitch deserves what she got, plus more. What sad and petty people Democrats have become. Just plain sad all around for them.
