Look into Abdul el Sayed or Whitmer. It’s probsbly going to be Whitmer despite the fact that she’s very Hillary like in her approach. (Which governing wise isn’t all so bad. But you’ll get a lot of contrived shit that went through 100 focus groups like fix our roads.)

For the record I think El Sayed would make the best governor and I hope he keeps working at it for future races but I think his chances of winning this time are minimal.

Never even heard of this guy until I went looking to see what his views were and up popped a pic of his wife wearing a hijab. Once I saw that it renders his politics moot. You claim to be in favor of quality, progressive and inclusive and yet support that vile symbol of repression.

Yes the Judeo-Christian history is one of violence but for the most part they have put that aside in the last 100 years. Except of course for the goddamned Irish. The Muslims I've met individually have been decent folk but they weren't extremists.

Hmm this does put a much different light. While I hate that animals are used for research, I too was required to use animals for my thesis. The abandonment of the lab is absolutely terrible. Why do we always have such crappy options to choose from?

The other options aren’t as crappy as him you just haven’t heard from them yet because he’s a gagillionaire that threw money at ads starting at the super bowl. They are starting to spend more now, which is nice. There’s Whitmer, who is a career state politician type. The likely winner once it’s all done. She’s fine. About what you’d expect a focus group politician to be. She’s fine. Wouldn’t do anything monumentally bad, which to me sometimes is just fine these days. There’s el Sayed who is a young dude that is a doctor that worked in government in Detroit. He’s more aggressively progressive than she is. Not as worried about walking the fine line. Probably doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning this year (on account of the last like 20 posts) but is in it to build up name recognition for the future.

Anyway, I’d look a little more at those two before throwing your hat at thannedar. To me that dude is just bad news all around.
