He is already getting the $275 and is just wondering about the extra? If that's the case, my understanding (no direct knowledge) is that there is no separate application for the extra $600, but Inhad heard that states are slow to get the money from the feds.

Re: Gretchen Whitmer?
I don't know what he is getting. Also the website is very confusing, something about if you make more than 8 hours of minimum wage, it is taken out. I have no idea, it is worded very poorly and hard to understand. If you made $100 you won't qualify, but if you made $94, you will get $60. Again, NFC what any of that meant.MiamiSpartan wrote:InTenSity wrote:

The confusing wording and cumbersome site were supposedly intentional by Rick Scott to make it harder for people to claim it when he was gov.

gotta hand it to republicans.. one day the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator logs into his Twitter account with his bulbous KFC stained hands and tweets:

then yesterday the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator says this about Georgia:
I'm thankful to have a Governor who doesn't play politics with people's lives and listens to the experts.

I had a conference call with some of the guys in my golf league today. They are pissed. A few of them were mocking her. I guess they like golf a lot more than I do. They said that according to the course if she gives the order that courses are open on Sunday, our league would start Monday. I have to really think about this, I am not sure I want to even play this year.

Because you say so? It says you're ineligible. Thus not eligible for the $600 stimulus. File an appeal. If you are correct it will be reversed.

Pantry would be far from the first to have difficulty navigating the unemployment system through no fault of his own, fellas.
As has been pointed out elsewhere on this board, many unemployment systems are deliberately designed to be glitchy and obtuse.

Whitmer's stooge with today's update. About the 7 minute mark he says they're trying to handle oldest claims/protests first...bullshit. When you try to call the UIA # the message says it's "for new claims only" before the call automatically disconnects.

Re: Gretchen Whitmer?
I’m guessing Pantry will be packing for Montana where there are fewer people ergo fewer unemployment claims.
Who would have ever thought our foresighted legislature who always talk jobs, jobs, jobs wouldn’t have provided Gov Snyder or Gov Whitmer with a budget to purchase or lease the computer and manpower to have the state equipped for 1.1M workers filing for jobless benefits in the last five weeks?
Well except for The Pantry

I have no idea what's going on. I am thinking that if there's an IT issue I wouldn't blame it on the current Governor regardless of the animal next to their name.
I *might* blame the Governor if he/she were boldly making outlandish statements publicly that were blatantly false about how great our IT infrastructure was.

I guess the only question is who is responsible for that.
At best “everybody”. But if I had a hunch as to who would make historically make unemployment difficult to obtain....
