I'm happy with the progress of the roads around here sorta. Mound, Dequindre redone from LL to M-59 by Troy Beaumont, John R up next. Those were some of the worst areas. Whitmer is doing a great job so far.

daughter and her friends went to the inauguration today. She said "they should give a warning before some gun/cannon salute. We almost hit the ground thinking some gun nut had showed up"..

funny but it's the world we live in thanks to gun nuts.

My biggest beef with the roads north of 59 in Macomb county isn't necessarily their condition as much as their capacity. For 20 years they've been plowing under farmland for subdivisions and the extra taxes to the municipalities and county hasn't been put into widening the roads. The county needs the money from the state for that.

I did not watch but I think she's plenty smart and I'm not really concerned about her dress or how ugly she is or isn't.

But yeah there are a lot of issues in this state and not a lot of tax dollars. I hope the damn roads don't become her wall.

I’m a bit disappointed in her choice to have a guy tied to Devos and the EAA and charters as a policy advisor but we’ll see.

We voted a tax hike down to pay for the roads it got passed anyways and roads still werent fixed. People are making money somewhere out of our pockets. Snyder was not smart either. She's right the infastructure needs fixed but she has no plan she is just using it to make herself look good at the moment. We will see if she comes up with one
