My gf shows up to her new job yesterday, her first day at work. VP Bob is to meet her and show her around. Bob is old (65ish) and been there forever. He comes walking down the hall towards her, gives her a double up-and-down and then says "Woah!" and some comment about a looker.

What the hell -- this isn't 1958 anymore fuckwad. You know, women can drive and go to the store themselves now, too!

Guy I work with has a band. He's actually a good musician. Multi-talented on guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion and can even sing. Writes stuff and has a recording studio at home.

Showed him my daughter's youtubes of stuff she's done on her cruise tours and he got hooked. He's almost peeing himself he now has access to a professional female singer. He now has a dream of landing some wedding gigs instead of the bar stuff he plays.

Have not spoken with her since April 2017. Her choice, not mine. Life can be weird.

So my kid said her first curse word already. Parenting fail. My fingers slipped opening a stubborn sliding door and I lifted up 3 of my acrylic nail. It hurt like a bitch and I yelled “shit shit.” My kid whispered it. Then the husband says, did you hear her? She just said shit shot. And then she repeated it.

I have to be a lot more careful now. I didn’t expect that to happen so soon.
