His morning show was simulcast on MSNBC for a few years, but got in trouble when he described some women student athletes as “nappy-haired.” Lost his spot on cable tv, and mostly disappeared after that.
I never liked the guy. Cantankerous, angry old fuck. Always thought he got away with a lot of offensive or at least questionable comments before the one that shut him down.

not the just that. NBA has been leaps and bounds ahead of the other guys as far as the internet/social media, etc. have been. a truly international league, something the NFL continually tries and fails to do. he's had some missteps (dress code thing) as they all do but, generally, an amazing job.
