3 year old daughter was just tested for COVID. She's been sick with a fever. Husband and I don't have any symptoms. But doc wanted to do it especially because of me having a kid anytime for the next few weeks.

Went to work week ago last Friday and started feeling like shit. Went home. Chills, fever, vomiting, diarrhea. Scheduled a drive-thru test later that day with Oakland County but couldn't get an appointment until last Tuesday. All symptoms except the diarrhea were gone Saturday afternoon. No respiratory issues. Test results came back negative for covid on Thursday. Diarrhea didn't stop until Wednesday. Think I got a stomach flu. Hope this info helps in weighing your daughter's symptoms. Keep her hydrated.

Ugh...sounds awful!

I don’t feel too concerned right now. It’s been low grade the whole time, and she’s good at drinking fluids. But it’s her whimpering that just breaks your heart. You know a 3 year old doesn’t feel well when they won’t eat ice cream, popsicles, or they ask to go to bed.

I hope we get the results quickly so we can just figure things out.

Shit Dendro. Hope all is well.

Our kiddo got sick about a month ago. Wasn't bad for her but my wife got it and she got real sick. Got tested and came back negative. Pulled the kid from daycare permanently after that. For other reasons as well. Let's just say we've been leery about how seriously our daycare was taking all of this. Sucks too because other than this they've been great. But this is a huge issue and they're really dropping the ball in our opinion.

Anyway, we're both working from home and trying to give her pre-preschool lessons and keep her entertained long enough to get actual work done. It's a fucking chore.

Yikes. I’m glad it was all negative. I wanted to do preschool, but we said we’re not doing it. We will re-evaluate it in January, but I’m sure it will be worse then. However, if it changes it changes.

Btw... daughters test was negative and she’s feeling better. So all good here.
