tOfficial Stupid Question Thread
I've got questions.
When they are pumping in fake crowd noise, is it being pumped through the stadium speakers or just the TV?

For soccer, it is only sent through the TV, not the stadium. But I guess I don't know for these US sports. Seems like that would be really distracting for players if they could hear it.

I don’t know if it’s a MLB choice or a tv choice but I’d rather they not do it. The sound of the snapping leather cracking bats and the chatter amongst the players would be awesome. Same with NBA. I want to hear them grunting!!

British cars have the steering wheel on the other side, so if they have a manual, they have to shift left handed. The pedals are still clutch on the left, brake in the middle, accelerator on the right though, correct? Or do they do that wrong too?
I haven't driven stick in years, but it seems like it would be weird as fuck to do the shifting left handed.

Pedals are the same. People I've talked to said it wasn't difficult to get the hang of it, but when tMisers cross the pond we opt for train/bus/cab. Gas & parking are a PITA anyway.

Shifting left-handed would feel weird. Like jacking off with your left hand. It might work, but the feeling would be different.

And that’s why left handers die by the 1000’s each year using things made for right handers. They are very discriminated against world wide.

Pedals and shifter are the exact same as the US. 1st gear is far left and you work your way toward you. Actually feels pretty natural. Left foot clutch. Left hand shift.
The biggest adjustment you have to make is where to look. You don't realize it, but when you drive you (at least I do) you key on the center line and look slightly left. I naturally wanted to look left and kept drifting into the shoulder... and they don't have shoulders.

Question for the Florida crew. We are looking at getting a rental in Cape Coral.
What is the purpose of the screened in Lanai? I say it is to keep the gators out. Wife says no. I don't want to get eaten by a gator. Please advise.

Dude, I hear the murder hornets are multiplying exponentially. We're all gonna get those screened in things soon. Start looking around at your decks and pools and figuring out where the support polls and tresses are gonna go and how they might block the second story windows. Never to early to protect yourself from murder hornets.

It's probably a little bit of anything. Geckos are all over the place. Palmetto bugs, cockroaches, gators, snakes. Florida has all of that shit.
