PGA 2K21

Not sure the 10-15 mph wind was needed but I ended up shooting even. Bogeyed both par 5s on the back, the first I had a birdie put from 7 feet and bogeyed

I turned those highlights off in the settings. They were annoying.  I was -3 or -4 going into 18 at Arcadia and then finished +2.  Putt past the hole off the green then repeated that twice.  It seems like the pins on all courses are always front of the green.  

Yeah once you turn it off it goes quick.

Yeah that was on pro-am. Going to move to pro for S2.

The house on the cliff is an awesome course. I figured something out with my mechanics so I went kind of low. Probably time to switch to pro as well.

Definitely a good course. You had to be right on with your driver and second shot, instead of it just coming down to the putter. Not sure how I hit as many fairways as I did. Almost holed 9. The other par 3s were dicey.

Going to move to pro tomorrow (3 putt previews is gonna suck).

I think we should pick a day/time for a match. And all move to pro at that time and see wtf happens. Might be funny.

Man played like ass. Shot 61 twice on that course this last weekend

Played a tour event at pro yesterday. Quad boogied the third. Grinded out a +3.

I'm really goddamn busy, sorry Xbox bros. Hoping to be able to play more after we get our feet off the ground at school. I'm also helping with football (shoutout Big Gretch for the reversal) so free time has been almost nil

Switched to pro and my god is it hard. I notice now the lie of the ball is taken into account, putt previews you can only use a few times ? Putts seem to lip out more often. Is it me or does the swing meter change speed randomly ? Not just in pro but pro am as well ?

Pro is half "GOD DAMNIT THAT WAS NOT A FAST SWING" and "Oh shit awesome" on the other half.

Pro, but I mainly just shot like shit.

I down a ridge in deep rough near the green on 16 and kept landing on the wrong side of the hill and it would roll back. Rough is no joke on pro.

You get 3 putt previews. Minus well just turn it off. It is the least of my problems right now.

Agree on the swing speed. It is either overall faster or there is more variance in club selection? Either way I couldn't figure it out last night.

Maybe I am imagining it but seems even putting sometimes it's slow and sometimes fast.

When I dabbled on pro a week ago or so I manually turned putt preview back on. F that. I'm not giving that up anytime soon. I'm not even close on half of my guesses before I hit the preview button. I didn't notice the timing issues with the swing.

Put it on 18 per round. If you fuck up a hole really badly, you have to burn a preview from another hole's "allocated" preview. Friends and I do 9 per round

Fuck pro btw. Pro Am with a few tweaks (18 Putt previews, change it so you have to factor in the lie, can't remember what else) is the way to go

Yeah every now and then I randomly go slow. It's how fast you transition from pulling back to pushing forward on the joystick. Any pitch shot I hit with irons is auto really slow unless I'm really paying attention

From my understanding it is how fast you flick the stick forward on your downswing. I still have issues with it.

I'm 55% sure it's the comparison between how quickly you draw the stick back and how quickly you go forward.

Backswing longer than follow through = "fast". Follow through longer than backswing = "slow"

You should also do the swing calibration I'm not sure how much it actually helps
