No.
Maybe.
I dont know. If it got down to whatever temp I have it set to kick the heat on then yes. I think that’s 63 or something

That's always my goal but is 59° in the house. Can live with that. The heat is going on in the morning before I shower.Floyd Robertson wrote:My answer in October will always be nyet.

Mrs. GW turned on the heat yesterday. I’m good with that. I’m not a pioneer. There’s no need to live uncomfortably.

My smart thermostat has a high and low between air and heat. This is why I work a full time job.tGreenWay wrote:Mrs. GW turned on the heat yesterday. I’m good with that. I’m not a pioneer. There’s no need to live uncomfortably.

No, but my AC froze up this morning. Did a big cleaning of the evaporator coils. Hopefully that's all it was and not a coolant leak. Heat index temps have still been well into the 90s, so we are aways from the one or two days of the year where we will run the heat.

this makes my golf parts tingle and gives me a strong thirst for sand and to spend time with old people.MiamiSpartan wrote:No, but my AC froze up this morning. You ever watch that "life below zero" show... All those fuckers going on about how they believe they are something special because of the shitty life they chose. I hate that show.kingstonlake wrote:No. Heat is for pussies pre November

Not all of us have a 4 ft tall bong that gives off residual heat.

I like the show but they’re actually “part timers”.

70 is excessive. 65 during the day and 62 when sleeping.Jake from State Farm wrote:kingstonlake wrote:No. Heat is for pussies pre November

I could live with 55 at night but think of the stress the furnace with undergo getting back up to 65 in the morning.Jake from State Farm wrote:The Pantry wrote:

a cozy 35° in the hamlet of East Lansing this morning.. I was perfectly fine, but my wife switched the furnace on for the first time this season.

Turned it on for the bedroom last night. The furnace was off and it was 64° inside, but I set the room mini-split to 66°. A heated 66° is a lot more comfortable than a no-furnace natural 64°.

No, but I pulled out a blanket while I slept with the window 1/3 open.

No heater yet, my wife and daughter like it a little bit cool also. However, while I usually sleep on top of the covers and shorts and a T-shirt, I did crawl under the covers last night

Slept last night with the fan on...very comfortable.
Temp in the house was 60 this morning. Could live with that but too damn cold to take a shower. Set the furnace to 65. Was up to temp by time I got out of shower.

I believe our house was 61° this morning, which I was good with. Slept with the window open, etc - but my wife wanted to click on the furnace and I wasn't gonna argue about it.
