The point guard for Davidson had 27 points tonight. 6 for 6 from three.
I’m glad Foster found some on par competition to go against

Completely agree. This team looks much more balanced and far better at the point. Doesn't seem like they are reliant on Henry havibg a monster game to carry them to victory. At the point there's a definite upgrade. Walker will settle in, Hoggard appears improved and Aikens can probably fill in a pinch. Big stage ball right out of the gate. My guess is if they opened with Delware things would have been much different. Izzos always been trial by fire with his schedule. I'm sure people will overreact though.

If Hoggard can maintain that level of play all year, this team will wildly outperform expectations. He looked like our most improved player, though Marble also looked a lot more confident and effective out there.

MSU is a dodge ball school.
We might have our first real bad ass our team since the flint kids in 2000 or Trannon.
Let me ask you guys. If Anagonye was on the team, would Dickenson hit the floor hard at least once? Mo Pete or Hutson doesn’t give one elbow to his ribs? Is there one other guy on our current team you’d go into a street fight with?
Duke has three possible lottery picks but if you lean on them they get tired and slow down.
Maybe I’m way off, and I do think this team can win a lot of games, but when you step out on the court with our teams for the last decade, there is no element of fear Other teams have as far as the Physical nature of the game goes.
I remember we all made a big deal because Holloman Shoved Edey.
Like to see some dawgs. After Dickenson taunts you and the crowd and makes you his bitch I don’t get why nobody takes a hard charge foul and runs him over. But whatever.

I agree. I rarely see that attitude anymore. Anagonye would be a welcome addition to any Spartan team of the past two decades. I remember one commentator saying something like, “When Anagonye walks onto the court, two guys fall down bleeding.”

Agreed. He did at least 4 taunting things, and 1 was after Carr pinned/blocked his shot and got called for a bullshit (maybe) goaltending. Foul him hard...easier said than done...he is kinda big.
Game was odd. They let them play in the 1st half, and then called everything in the 2nd half.
We don't flop, but it seems like it would be so easy to set him up to get a charge called on him.
He is such an oddball also. He ran off the court at the end of pregame warmups like he was a female version of Forrest Gump.
