Michael Wilbon's (latest) take on Jimmy

Starts around 5:30 in.  Basically says Harbaugh want to win it all, and it will be easier to win a Super Bowl than a Natty.  

"He ain't winning at Michigan...he's not winning the National Championship...unlikely he'll even beat Ohio State the 2nd straight year...maybe won't even beat Michigan State..."

No, it was a blanket statement meant to cut the whole university down, done with purpose.

But yeah, Harbaugh might go. Or stay.

One wonders if he would send his children to Michigan with their much larger sex scandal problems.

Harbaugh is probably gone, he had his best possible year, next year will be worse, baring a miracle, and the NFL is where he fits better.

Simms has some issues with Jim Harbaugh.

Doesn't matter if he stays or goes, because MSU has Tucker.

I joke with all my uofm friends that we all hope he stays.  I know I’m joking, because he is a pretty damn good coach. He will always have them top 20 or top 15, with a punchers chance to beat OSU. But honestly, I really do look at it as the devil we know. He’s a guy that loses to MSU as much as he beats us. Who knows who Michigan might bring in? They could catch lightning in a bottle. They have resources and a brand name. So I really do think we are better off with him there and Tucker here

If Jimmy wants to go back to the NFL, this is his best chance. Everything fell into place this year (other than losing to us). Can he compete with OSU every year? Not seeing it.

UM should be better than they are. Kind of like Texas.

That would happen this year if he left. But he’d have an interim tag on his title and, depending on results, uofm would be in full out search with a full summer and fall to think about it.
